Indoor storage keeps cold mornings from stiffening the latch in the first place, and wiping the latch area dry after wet walks keeps the click crisp. A dry wipe on the trigger pivot keeps it moving in damp weather without gumming the works.

f Check the front wheels for a wrap of hair around the axle first - that is the usual culprit. Then confirm the linked brake is fully released; a half-released pedal drags one side. If both check out, look at the load: a basket packed heavy on one side steers that side down, and rebalancing it toward the center evens the roll out. If a latch still feels soft after a clean re-seat, stop using that module and check the manual's service notes before the next ride. A soft click instead of a firm one usually means the posts need a wipe, not a replacement part.

f Slide the canopy mount back one notch and re-seat it - the pivot holds firmer at the shorter reach. On gusty walks, run the canopies at mid-extension instead of full, and angle them into the wind so the panels shed the gust instead of catching it. Check the mounts for a click after the walk, since the same gusts that sag the fabric can work a mount loose over time. Check the rear canopy as well as the front one - the rear panel takes the wind first on this layout.
