The fold jams when the basket is loaded or the hood sits in the way. Empty the basket, fold the hood back and check the bumper bar sits in its fitting before you release the lock. Look for grit in the lock and brush it clear, because a crumb of path gravel holds the catch closed. Check that the back strap is not pulled tight across the frame, because a taught strap props the fold open. Never force the fold past its stop.

The strap slips when grit works into the lock or when the strap has twisted at the guide. Pull the strap straight, check it runs clean through its guide and work the lock through its travel a few times before loading the seat. Check that the strap has not frayed at the buckle, because a worn strap holds less. If the back drifts down under the child's weight, stop using the recline until the strap is checked, because a seat that moves on its own is not safe on a slope.

Lift the end of the stroller with the noisy wheel and spin it by hand to find which one is affected. Brush dust and hair away from the axle, and check the hub for a trapped stone or a build-up of grit, which is the usual cause rather than wear. Most squeaks come from dry dust, and a clean axle quiets them. Keep oil away from the wheels, because it attracts fresh grit that wears the axle faster, and check the swivel front hubs especially, because their pivot holds a half-seated wheel longer than a fixed axle does.

The zip sticks when grit works into the teeth or when the pocket fabric catches at the slider. Brush the track clean with a dry brush and run the slider back and forth slowly a few times rather than hauling it past the tight spot. Check that the pocket edge is not folded under itself at the end of the track, because a trapped edge pulls the zip out of line. Keep oil away from the teeth, because it attracts fresh grit. Empty the pocket before you fold, because a full pocket strains the zip at the seam.

The leg rest drops when one side has not clicked home or when the hinge has grit in the lock. Fold it fully back and click it out again from the start, pressing both sides until each one seats. Check the hinge for crumbs and grit after snack stops, because a crumb in the lock holds the rest half-open. If one side still will not lock, stop using the rest for naps and contact support, because a rest that drops under weight tips a sleeping child forward.

The basket hangs from the frame tubes, and a heavy point load pulls the walls down toward the wheels. Keep the load light and spread it flat rather than piling it at one side, and sit the bag low in the center so the rim takes the weight. Reach in from the side openings rather than pressing down through the seat, because pressing from above stretches the mesh at the front edge. If the walls still sag, check that the basket hooks are seated on the frame rails and push them back on before the next ride.
